How many emails per day is safe for warm outreach?

Safe volume depends on domain age and sender reputation. For most SME domains, start 20–40/day and increase gradually after positive engagement.

Good practice is to send fewer, more relevant emails rather than blasting large lists. Combine email with LinkedIn touches to warm prospects before emailing. This improves reply rates and reduces the risk of being marked as spam.

  • Use custom tracking domains and authenticate (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
  • Keep bounce rate <3% and complaint rate ~0%
  • Mix manual replies; avoid identical templates.

Postmark – Email sending limits best practices
Google – Avoid spam filters

What is warm email outreach?

Summary:
Start small (20–40/day on a new domain), ramp up slowly, focus on quality over quantity, and monitor engagement to protect deliverability.
